A Human Factors Approach to Food Insecurity
In the last 12 months…
- Have you worried about whether your food would run out before you got money to buy more?
OR
- The food you bought just didn’t last, and you didn’t have money to get more.
If you answered yes to one or both of these questions, you are invited to take part in a research study!
This study seeks to decrease food insecurity by learning from people who live with food insecurity. Talking with you helps us find ways to help people access food.
Participation in this study involves a Zoom or phone interview with two researchers and a short survey. This takes about one hour. You will get $20 for your time. Taking part in this study is voluntary: you can stop at any time.
Faculty, staff, and students will protect your privacy. Your name and personal information will not be published or shared with anyone outside of the research team.
Dr. Abigail Wooldridge at the University of Illinois leads this project.
